1984 Chevy C-20 Scottsdale By Brian Rozema

              “G Daddy’s   G- TRUCK”

I blame Hot Wheels, Model Car Kits, World of Wheels, Hot Rod Weekends in Gatlinburg, and US 30 Dragstrip for giving me the “car bug.” I thank my mom for making sure all of the above were a big part of my childhood. I’ve got to give my Uncle Sam a shout out as well, because he made one of the baddest 55 Chevys there ever was or will be. I bought my truck in 1996 from my father-in-law for the purpose of putting food on the table and a roof over the heads of my beautiful wife and  2 daughters. I did siding, gutters, decks, etc. until 2008. Having a new job and a company truck to take care of business the 3/4 ton Chevy was slipping into retirement. It was used for household chores and my personal vehicle. The funny thing was even though I took the ladder rack and toolboxes off I was still getting “For real? “We don’t have to go in your truck dooo weee?!” from my daughters. The paint was peeling on the hood so i figured I’d paint it in hopes that would make it a little more presentable for my girls. I had no idea that was the beginning of the truck you see today. “Skull Truck” Though my grandson has renamed it “G Truck”
